Howdy! I’ve been so busy again today, with appointments out of the house, that I haven’t had much time to think of what I should post today. But I did get the chance to upload some photos from the weekend, at Toronto’s Luminato arts festival. Nothing at all to do with books, at least directly. But photos from a wonderful time.

And as I’ll be saying over at my “Confessions of a Cultural Idiot” blog when I get the post done, watch a gymnast do a routine at the Olympics and you marvel at their skill and prowess. Put the same gymnast in whiteface and a costume, doing a similar routine with Cirque de Soleil, and that frisson of delicious unease goes through your vitals like a ghostly knife:
