That itself may be part of the message of the story: that we live, have an influence, then move on while the story continues without us. Today I’m doing some more browsing through search engines, and this week the search term I’m using is “book information.” And again I’ve been finding some little things that are interesting. [Author's Note: the one I think is the neatest is #4 below, so if you don't want to read anything long, skip to [...] Yes yes, I know I’m cheating. But I just could not find the time to do this yesterday. So here I am doing it today. Barnes and Noble now has their own eReader that you can download from their Nook site, which went up today. [**Please note: I'm adding a correction to much of this post, at the bottom, quoting from Melissa's comment because I'm in a bit of a hurry at the end of the day.**] As I posted when I linked this on Facebook, some things just make you glad to be alive. You may have noticed that I haven’t been able to do my Sunday morning browse through my blogroll in recent months. Life has just been too packed with STUFF, unfortunately. It’s exactly the sort of non-fiction book I love, all about the history of space exploration, both from the Soviet Russian and American points of view. |
