If you’re a fan of police procedural mysteries, Macmillan, through its Minotaur Books imprint, is offering a contest where you can win one of five copies of Pray for Silence by Linda Castillo.
You may recall my post from last summer, Linda Castillo: my new author to look for, in which in which I talked about this author’s first book, Sworn to Silence. It takes place in an Amish-English town, where the new police chief, Kate Burkholder, is an Amish woman who had left the community and has now come back, and has to deal with a murder that connects to her own past.
In the new novel, Burkholder again has to try to solve a murder – this time of an entire family – with implications for the past. And now she also has to deal with the assistance of a state agent, John Tomasetti, with whom she has worked and had a relationship before.
If you’re interested in trying out for one of the five giveaway books, visit the Minotaur books contest website, and enter. The draw will be July 1st, so you still have a few days to get your entry in. And by the way, this offer is only open to Americans.
And remember, if you don’t win a copy, remember that you can always buy it through me!

An Excellent book.
